What Peaks are Visible from Dayara Bugyal Trek?
Looking for short winter trek with the most stunning Views? Dayara Bugyal trek should be on top of your bucket list. It is usually done in 4 Days and 3 Nights and starts from Natin/Raithal/Barsu Village which is around 200km from Dehradun. The basecamp for the trek is generally Natin or Raithal. Beginning from Natin, you’ll trek through a dense forest and frozen waterfalls surrounded by meadows, eventually making your way to the snow-covered mountains. Dayara Bugyal trek is one of the best all season treks and is operated all the months. One of the impressive part about the Dayara Bugyal trek is that you get to see mountains from Day 01 itself i.e. from Natin. Natin is located at an altitude of 2200m above sea level. From natin itself you can see Srikanth and few peaks for the Gangotri Ranges. You can see the same peaks if you are starting from Raithal and Barsu.

Peaks Visible from Gui: Gui is at an altitude of around 2700-2800m and is the first campsite of the Dayara Bugyal trek. Gui campsite is around 3-4km from Natin/Raithal and it takes around 4-5 Hours to do this trek. On reaching Gui you are welcomed by the Grand Himalayan Peaks. The major peaks visible from Gui are Mt. Bandarpooch (6316m), Black Peak (6387m), Srikanth (6133m), Jaonli (6632m), Draupadi ka Danda I and II (5642 and 5668m) along with few other peaks of the Gangotri ranges.

Peaks Visible from Dayara Bugyal Summit: Dayara Bugyal Summit is at an altitutre of around 3650m and at the summit you will feel like you at the centre of the Himalayas with towering peaks surrounding you. The Major Peaks Visible from the summit are Mt. Bandarpooch (6316m), Black Peak (6387m), Srikanth (6133m), Jaonli (6632m), Draupadi ka Danda I and II (5642 and 5668m), Swargrohini peaks, Bhagirathi peaks (I, II, and III) along with few other peaks of the Gangotri ranges.
Though trek is organized for all months the best time to do is from October to April as once can see absolutely clear views during this time in Summer due to fog and clouds you might not see the peaks as clearly but if you are planning to do this trek in summer then you can start early and reach the top around 6-7am as during this time there is the maximum probability to see the peaks
