Dayara Bugyal Trek Itinerary 2025: Cost, Inclusions & Best Deals

The Dayara Bugyal Trek is one of the most scenic and culturally rich treks in the Indian Himalayas. The trek is situated in Uttarkashi District of Uttarakhand and is also one of the oldest winter treks in India. If you are looking to start your trek journey then Dayara Bugyal is a perfect trek choice. You get to see the most stunning meadow in India along with the famous Himalayan Peaks of the Garhwal Himalayas.

The Dayara Bugyal Trek spans 4 days and 3 nights and is available in two variants:

  1. Dehradun to Dehradun Package
  2. Natin to Natin Package

The Dehradun to Dehradun package provides transport from Dehradun to Dehradun, whereas the Natin to Natin package means you need to report directly at Natin.

Now let us go through the Day-wise Itinerary for Dayara Bugyal trek.

Day 01: Dehradun to Natin | 180 Km Drive, 8-9 hours

  • Pick up from Dehradun at 7.00 AM. The drive takes you via Mussoorie, Uttarkashi, Bhatwari along the Bhagirathi River.
  • Arrival at Natin by evening.
  • Quick introduction and trek briefing.
  • Check in at a guesthouse/hotel. Dinner and rest.

Day 02: Natin to Gui Campsite | 3-4 km Trek, 3-4 Hours

  • Breakfast at the Hotel.
  • Begin trek to Gui via scenic oak, rhododendron, and deodar forests.
  • Lunch and rest at the campsite.
  • Evening refreshments, group activities, and dinner. Overnight stay in tents.

Day 03: Gui to Dayara Bugyal Summit and return to Gui |7-8 km Trek

  • Post breakfast, trek through alpine meadows with breathtaking views of Garhwal Himalayas
  • Lunch at Dayara Top.
  • Enjoy the Summit Views and soak in the nature
  • Return to Gui and overnight stay in tents.

Day 04: Gui to Natin and Return to Dehradun | Km Trek

  • Early morning start after breakfast.
  • Trek 4 km mostly downhill to Natin.
  • Departure to Dehradun from natin
  • Approx arrival time at Dehradun is 10pm

Cost and Inclusions of the Dayara Bugyal Package

1. Dehradun to Dehradun Package

Cost: ₹6500 per person + 5% GST

Inclusions:

  • Transportation (Dehradun → Natin → Dehradun)
  • Vegetarian meals (Breakfast, Lunch, Evening Snacks, Dinner)
  • Accommodation: Hotel/Guest House on Day 1 and tents (triple sharing) during the trek
  • Sleeping bags, mats, and other camping gears
  • Trekking equipment (microspikes and gaiters as per snow conditions)

Note: Meals during transportation on Day 1 and Day 4 are not included.

  1. Natin to Natin Package

Cost: ₹ 4700 per person+5% GST

Inclusions Same as the Dehradun package, except transportation.

Trekkers need to reach Natin Basecamp (Hotel) on their own.

Additional Expenses to Consider

Apart from the package cost, trekkers may need to spend on the following:

  1. Meals during transportation (only for Dehradun package)

    ₹100–150 per meal (Approx. ₹600 for Day 1 & Day 5 combined).

  1. Rental gear (if needed)

   Average: ₹600 per person.

   It is advised to book in advance to ensure availability.

  1. Backpack offloading (optional)

   Around 1,200 per bag for the entire trek.

  1. Miscellaneous/Personal expenses

   Around ₹1,000 for emergencies.
