How to Reach Natin: Basecamp for Dayara Bugyal Trek

Natin, located in Uttarkashi district of Uttarakhand, sits at an altitude of around 2,300m and serves as the basecamp for treks like Dayara Bugyal and Bakaria Top. It is among the smallest villages associated with popular winter treks, so basic facilities are very limited. You may even struggle to find a regular shop here.

If you are planning for the Dayara Bugyal trek, it is highly advisable not to depend on Natin for supplies, as shops are almost non-existent. The charm of this quaint village lies in its simplicity—it feels like stepping back into the 90s, where life moves slowly and peacefully. For a detailed guide on the trek, including best months, itinerary, and cost, you can check our Dayara Bugyal Trek Complete Guide.

From Natin, you get magnificent views of the Gangotri region with prominent peaks such as Bandarpoonch, Srikanth, Hathi Parvat, and the Gangotri Group of Peaks clearly visible.
