What Peaks are Visible from Kuari Pass Trek?
If you are looking for a perfect winter trek? Kuari Pass trek should be on top of your bucket list. It is usually done in 6 Days and 5 Nights and starts from Tugasi Village which is around 301km from Dehradun. The basecamp for the trek is generally Pipalkoti or Joshimath. Beginning from Tugasi, you’ll trek through a dense forest and frozen waterfalls surrounded by meadows, eventually making your way to the snow-covered mountains. The trek’s stunning beauty and breathtaking views from the top make it a favorite among trekkers, and it’s perfect for beginners looking for an unforgettable experience. The trek’s popularity soars in winter, thanks to the snow that lasts usually until April. We will now be informing you what peaks are visible from Kuari Pass trek.

On Day 01 you stay at Pipalkoti from where no major peaks are witnessed. Pipalkoti is at an altitude of around 1200m. You witnesss the peaks from Day 02 when you start your trek from Tugasi to Gulling.
Peaks Visible from Guling: Guling is at an altitude of around 2700m and is the first campsite of the Kuari Pass trek. Gulling campsite is around 3km from Tugasi and it takes around 2-3 Hours to do this trek. On reaching Gulling you are welcomed by the Grand Himalayan Peaks. The major peaks visible from Guling are Mt. Dronagiri (7066m), Hathi Parvat (6727m) and Gauri Parvat (6708m).

Peaks visible From Khullara Campsite: Khullara is at an altitude of 3300m above sea level. It is one of the coldest and also the most beautiful campsites of any winter trek. The best part about Khullara is you get a wide Himalayan panorama right from your tents. Major peaks visible from Khullara are Dronagiri, hathi Parvat, Gauri Parvat, Kamet( 7756m), Neel kanth (6596m), Trishul, and few other Himalayan Peaks.
Peaks Visible from Kuari Pass Summit : The Major Peaks Visible from the summit are Nanda Devi – second highest peak of India, Dronagiri, Chaukhamba Massif, Kamet, Mana, Kalanka, Trishul, Nanda Ghunti etc.

Peaks Visible from Tali Campsite: On Day 04, after the summit we reach the Tali Campsite which is at an altitude of 3350m. Tali is a forest locked campsite so youll need to go to specific points to get a clear view of the Himalayas. Major Peaks visible from Tali are Dronagiri, Chukhambha, Neelkanth Kamet etc.
