Balu Ka Ghera
Day Temperature: 15°C to 18°C
Night Temperature: 0°C to 6°C
Balu ka Ghera sits at much higher altitude at 3,800 meters. Even during the day the air stays quite cold ranging between 15°C to 18°C. Shea Goru
Day Temperature: 13°C to 15°C

Chatru

Chandratal Lake, also known as the Moon Lake, is one of the most beautiful sights of the Hampta Pass Trek.It sits at an altitude of 4,250 meters. Since you only visit the lake during the day, you will experience temperatures between 6°C to 12°C.
What To Pack For Hampta Pass Trek:
To keep yourself warm when the temperature drops below 0 at night, especially at high camps like Shea Goru you need to pack clothes that trap your body heat.
- Thermal Inners: Carry 2 pairs of high-quality, body-hugging thermal tops and bottoms. Wear these strictly at the campsite and while sleeping to lock in your body heat.
- Fleece Jackets: Carry fleece jackets or warm woolen sweaters. Fleece is lightweight and excellent for trekking because it keeps you warm even while you are moving.
- Woolen Beanie/Muffler/Cap): Carry a warm woolen cap that completely covers your ears. Wear it at night to prevent headaches.
- Thick Woolen Socks: Carry 2 to 3 pairs of thick woolen socks meant especially for sleeping. Never wear the same damp socks you trekked in during the day.
